Oh, awesome! Glad you got the chance to check Chihayafuru out. I'm pretty much caught up with it on Crunchyroll - up to episode 22 - and I'm resigned to the fact that I'll be utterly devastated by the anime ending because like you pointed out, manga's still ongoing, but anime will have to end soon. I think Chihayafuru's got a small hardcore (cult?) following, but read a while back that blu-ray sales for the series weren't great, so... would love to see a second season, but not holding my breath for it either :/

And yeah, episode five... I think that may have been one of the episodes that caused me to weep like a baby lol, I swear this series have made me cry several times already, it's that good ;-;

I was planning on adding a version without it, but I got lazy and forgot. I might try to add it later in the week, if I get the change. No guarantee, though. I might end up forgetting again (such is life).

I JUST checked the Mawaru gallery and realized that your wall was the second, and mine the third. What the heck?! It's such a wall-able series too!

Speaking of underrated, Chihayafuru is also ridiculously underrepresented by the walling community... I would like to rectify this at some point :D

I'm currently watching Chihayafuru and I'm LOVING it. Couldn't stop watching it, actually, which is amazing 'cause I'm finding it hard to find time for anime around RL work/life demands. It's a fun mixture of josei & sports (centered around a traditional Japanese card game called karuta), terrific characters and story... I could go on spouting cliched praise for this series because just reading the plot abstract it doesn't sound like anything great, and it's kinda hard to convey how awesome this series is, but it really IS. It's totally underrated/underappreciated as well, so I'd highly, highly recommend this series if you haven't checked it out already. Let me know if you do end up checking it out & what you think :D

No worries. I actually didn't end up watching Deadman Wonderland, since I got pretty far with the manga - where did the anime end? I think I tried watching the first episode and thought that seeing the depressing back-stabbing once was enough, although a lot of the battle scenes should've translated ok to anime form... sucks to hear that the animation wasn't great though? I really like the art for the manga - the mangaka also did Eureka Seven :D

The fundraising for Six for Tea really slowed down after the initial push, but we got halfway to our target which is not bad! I'm still pushing out occasional Six for Tea tweets and will leave the fundraising open just in case :) But yeah, thank you sooo much for donating!

Yeah, me too! I only just started reading Deadman Wonderland recently, but I really enjoyed it and it could be really kickass animated. With all the delays and cancellations recently though, I dunno. I wouldn't be surprised if the background setting is enough to get DW scrapped. I'm not usually overly sensitive to this kinda thing, and it's not like earthquakes/tsunami have never been featured in anime before... But after the recent disaster I admit, I thought of the "Great Tokyo Earthquake" and winced. It's hard when emotions are still raw and the nuclear situation is still unresolved :/

Yeah, I agree with you. It's really good to see that someone did a wall in tribute to an anime less popular than others.

I'll try to find time to watch SD. Hopefully when things will slow for me and can finally be able to relax.
